How to Advertise Listings on the YGL Network?

Overview


You Got Listings Network (aka Listings Network) is a marketplace where professionals can advertise to other professionals.

The “Visible on Listings Network” setting controls whether your listing is advertised with other real estate professionals on the You Got Listings (YGL) platform.

How to Advertise a Single Listing to the Network

  1. Click Rentals in the navigation menu
  2. Search for the desired property
  3. Click the property address to open the details page
  4. Locate the Marketing section
  5. Click the Edit button
  6. Navigate to the Marketing to Professionals section
  7. Locate the setting “Visible on Listings Network”
  8. Set it to Yes
  9. Save your changes

How to Advertise All Listings From a Listing Provider to the Network

  1. Click Listing Providers in the navigation menu
  2. Search for the desired listing provider
  3. Click the provider name to open the details page
  4. Locate the Marketing section
  5. Click the Edit button
  6. Navigate to the Marketing to Professionals section
  7. Locate the setting “Visible on Listings Network”
  8. Set it to Yes
  9. Save your changes

What Happens When It’s Enabled

When set to Yes:

  • Your listing(s) is advertised to other professionals on YGL
  • It appears in their search results and listing database
  • Other professionals can:
    • View listing details
    • Show the property
    • Help bring in qualified tenants

This effectively expands your reach beyond your own office and leverages the broader YGL network to increase exposure.

What Happens When It’s Disabled

When set to No:

  • Your listing remains private to your account
  • It will not be shared with other professionals on YGL
  • Only your internal users can access and manage the listing

What Information is Visible to Outside Professionals

To see what other professionals can view:

  1. Open the advertised listing’s details page
  2. Locate the Marketing section
  3. Click the Edit button
  4. Scroll to the External Preview section

Hidden Information

The following fields remain private and are not visible to outside users:

  • Key / Entry Info
  • Unit and Building Tags
  • Website & Syndication Ad Copy
  • Unit, Building, and Provider Internal Notes
  • Provider information - Outside users will see your account as the provider contact

Important Considerations

  • YGL is a neutral platform that facilitates listing distribution and collaboration—it does not create or enforce contracts between parties
  • Advertising a listing on the network is a marketing action, not a representation agreement
  • Users should ensure their business practices comply with applicable laws, including broker fee regulations
