When creating an application, what does the various credit check options mean?
Prerequisite: Online Application feature
During the process of creating a deal for your application, you may encounter a "Credit Check" section under the Documents Selection step. Below is a detailed explanation of each option available:
TransUnion Credit Check
This option is only available to office that have completed the Credit Check Service sign-up process. (Learn More)
It allows you to pull a credit report with a FICO score for the applicant or guarantor.
TransUnion Credit & Background
Accessible to all accounts signed up for the Online Application feature.
Enables the applicant or guarantor to pull their own credit and background report and share the reports with you.
TransUnion Credit, Background Check & Eviction Related Proceedings
Same as the Credit & Background Check option with the addition of the Eviction Related Proceedings report.
Applicant Upload Credit Report
The applicant is prompted to upload their own credit report.
Guarantor Upload Credit Report
The guarantor is prompted to upload their own credit report.
Agent Upload Credit Report
The agent is prompted to upload the applicant’s or guarantor’s credit report.
